Q: How long will it take to get my stock once I order?
A: While we do carry a small inventory of our stocks in the most popular models, colors and inlets based on sales and customer requests, we still for the most part operate on a made to order basis. What this means, is that our delivery time is 8 to 10 weeks on most orders unless we happen to have it in stock. If it is in stock you would receive your order in approximately one week. Please note that lead times are subject to change depending on the volume of orders.
Q: Do you make left hand models?
A: At this time all of our models are available in left hand for the Tikka T3 only.
Q: What kind of warranty do you have?
A: We warranty all of our products against manufacturer defects for 2 years. If you discover a defect any time during the warranty period we will fix or replace your stock for free.
Q: Conditions
A: Helmick Arms is not responsible in any way for personal injury or property damage caused by modifications or alterations made to your firearm or our product by you or by a third party. Abuse, misuse, careless handling, and normal wear and tear are not covered. Helmick Arms is not responsible for insuring that safe operation and proper maintenance practices have been followed for your firearm and/or gunstock and are not liable for injuries incurred or damage to firearm and/or stock.
Q: Do you offer checkering?
A: Not at this time
Q: Do you offer bedding or pillar bedding?
A: Not at this time.
Q: Are your stocks a 100% drop in.
A: Every one of our stocks is fitted with one of our shop rifles to ensure a proper fit and finish before they are shipped to the customers and are a drop in finished product. However due to manufacturing tolerances no two rifles are exactly the same and there is no way to guarantee a perfect fit with every single rifle out there. In some instances, some minor fitting may be required.
Q: How do I know which barrel contour I have?
A: If your rifle is a sporter version and it is chambered for a standard cartridge you have a standard contour. If your rifle is chambered for a magnum cartridge you have a magnum contour. If you have a Varmint or Tactical model chances are your barrel contour will be heavy. If you are unsure of what you have please contact us and we will be happy to help you determine what stock you need for a proper fit.
Q: Why don’t you offer the Tikka T3 in your short action inlets?
A: Tikka does not make a short action T3. All T3’s are long action no matter the chambering. A: Yes. In fact all of our Tikka T3 stocks come standard with an oversized recoil lug already bedded into the stock so all you have to do is drop in your barreled action and tighten down the screws.
